Lovely homes have been built throughout the campus to help us meet our goal of “providing excellence in retirement living.” We have two beautiful neighborhoods to choose from:

  • Brookside Neighborhood
  • Methodist Neighborhood

Brookside Neighborhood:

Brookside is our modern day retirement suburb consisting of about 119 superb homes with square footage’s from 1200 to 2500, many include sunrooms and two-car garages.  You can even design your own home to fit your needs and lifestyle.

Methodist Neighborhood:

About Seventy five Methodist Drive homes have been built over the last 55 years and border our horseshoe drive, which surrounds the Wesley Center. These include single patio homes and duplexes ranging from 800-2000 square feet. A variety of floor plans and architectural options are available.

Our cottage style homes include:

  • Wide variety of designs
  • Appliances included except refrigerator, washer and dryer
  • Central heat and air conditioning
  • Window treatments
  • Lawn and home maintenance
  • Garbage removal
  • Gated community with security services
  • Snow removal
  • Access to emergency medical care 24/7

  • Wellness Clinic available with state of the art equipment and staff available to assist

Apartment Living

Each apartment has its own personal bathroom/shower and kitchenette. Our residents benefit from professional, courteous, and respectful nursing care, housekeeping services, dietary services, laundry services and appropriate activities by qualified staff.

  • Three meals per day served restaurant style in dining room
  • Menu choices to fit dietary needs
  • Bi-weekly housekeeping
  • Flat linen service, personal laundry service and complimentary laundry facilities
  • All utilities and services included except telephone
  • Maintenance free living
  • Transportation for shopping, appointments and activities

Otterbein Franklin SeniorLife Community (formally know as Franklin United Methodist Community) opened its doors in 1957 as a continuing care retirement community that provides a variety of living options and care choices for retired persons. The long-standing traditions and standards of the United Methodist Church remain a part of our community; however residency is open to persons of all faiths and denominations. We stand committed as a non-profit, faith-based organization willing to serve the needs of our community.
